This class covers: At the end of this class, student would be able to read and write words with maatras in Hindi. They will be able to read sentences and basic stories, also increased speaking skills.

Homework: 1. Practice all the words we learnt in class starting with letter ट, 2. Learn the vegetables and fruits from the poem we learnt in class, 3. Practice letter matra combination from pages 14-18 in abhyas pustika and 4. Practice the spoke Hindi sentences we learn in class. Have a good rest of your weekend.

We first welcomed everyone and talked to parents in order to understand what are their expectations from this class.

Some of the students are verse with speaking, but need to read and write, whereas some are also looking forward to learn speaking Hindi and some basic conversation.

We then reviewed student's initial awareness and level of understanding on alphabets and "matraas". Since there was short time left for the day, started the class with some basic sentences and assigned home work around those sentences. Practice at home and converse with parents. Quite encouraging!!
