Today we learned a few more Hindi words.

Homework is to write sentences using these words AND watch YouTube Hindi videos about tourist places around your hometown in India. I showed them 2 videos today.

Today in class we learned how to say and write popular vegetables and fruits in hindi. 

 Class Notes:

Banana = Kela = केला

Watermelon = Tadbuj = तरबूज

Today we learned how to say in hindi: my birthday is on (ex: September 29).

मेरा जन्मदिन (उदाहरण: उन्नतीस सितंबर) को होता है।

I was born on September 29, 2015.

मेरा जन्म उन्नतीस सितंबर, दो हज़ार पंद्रह को हुआ था।

We also learned:

We practiced names of different fruits in hindi. All these things needs to be practiced at home for homework.

November 24

We read hindi words and sentences with different matras. We were able to reach up to (उ) ki matra in the limited class time. Attached is the pdf of today’s class work. Homework for the week is to revise already done in the class and reading/writing sentences with other matras that could not be covered today. We also practiced writing the names of all present students in Hindi.

Today, we practiced differences between matras, for example पत्र and पात्र. We also learned about numbers such as 30, 32, 40 etc. Kids wrote a few words from Hindi Bhajan.

Homework is to write as *many words* from 1 Hindi Bhajan (not movie songs).
