April 1st-

Material Covered in Class:

• We reviewed numbers 1-20 (forewords and backwards) and had a wok day for letters.

Homework:

• The homework for this week is to practice numbers and letter for the quiz next class!

March 25th-

Material Covered in Class:

• Kids to learn all the alphabets (k -gya) - write 5 times and practice to recognize them. They will be tested on April 15th after spring break.

• We also had them read quick 2-3 letter words with "a" and aa" e.g. Nal, Baal, Kala pgs 1-4 of green book.

Homework:

• Learn names of 5 fruits and 5 vegetables in hindi.

• Practice these vowels in recognizing and listening.

March 18th-

Material Covered in Class:

• Hindi A was split into two levels, this level now consists of students who have basic letters knowledge, but are not yet ready for Hindi B.

• Today was the first class for this level.

• There was a basic summary done of letters to understand the knowledge level of all students.

Homework:

• Come prepared with names of 5 fruits in Hindi and practice letters from क up to ध for 5 times - they will be tested on these to make sure this is the correct level to continue in.

• Please ask the kids to come with 2 sharpened pencils, papers and Hindi Book.
