Namaste parents,
We started the class by reciting three Om and the prayer “Om Jai Jagdish Hare”, followed by learning the Saraswati Shloka “Saraswati bamastubhyam”. We also read a Panchatantra story that taught the kids an important lesson — stealing is not good. After that, the kids enjoyed a small craft activity.
Please encourage the kids to practice their shlokas and bhajan at home, as it helps them participate confidently in class.
Namaste parents, we started class with reciting three Om and prayer “Om Jai jagdeesh hare”. Kids learned about lord Shiva, please ask your kids about lord shiva and which river he holds on his head, what’s the name of bull he is always with and name of Snake around his neck.
We did Vakratunda mahakaya sloka.
Ramayana story
Dandiya dance
Om Jaya Jagadish hare.
We talked little about lord Ganesha. We all enjoyed creating beautiful Ganesha ornaments together. They also practiced their first Shloka: “Vakratunda Mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha” and learned the opening lines of the Bhajan “Om Jai Jagdeesh Hare.”
Next Sunday we learn more about lord Ganesha
It would be wonderful if you could help them recite these at home as much as possible.
